Mull and Iona Community Trust a dedicated and passionate local charity focused on improving the quality of life for the residents of Mull, Iona, and its associated islands. Graduate Data Researcher

Could you be our graduate data researcher/analyst?

  • Have you graduated within the last 4 years with a NHC, HND or degree?
  • Are you interested in rural regeneration/community development?
  • Do you have great written/graphical communication, research and data analysis skills?

This new role is funded by Highland and Islands Enterprise for 12 months, on a full-time basis and will be supported by the Trust’s management team to research, compile and present a comprehensive secondary survey data and statistical review of a wide range of socio-economic information about Mull and Iona and it’s residents.  Some data analysis and creation of infographics to help present data in useful formats is required with the resulting ‘Databook’ of statistical information indexed to provide links to the source data so that it can be kept up-to-date as the information changes.

Out Of School Care Playworkers

Until March 2022 

Part Time, Flexible Positions Available

Following the success of the summer holidays clubs, we are recruiting additional Playworkers to be part a team helping to deliver the next stage of the Out of School Care Trial to provide care for school age children in rural areas, with a focus on the outdoors. This will include but not limited to holiday clubs, breakfast and after school clubs.

Experience of working in the childcare sector or with children would be advantageous but not essential.  We are looking for staff that have a genuine interest in the development of children and their well-being.  Support and training will be available for the right candidates.

Community Transport Drivers (Part-time)

We need additional drivers for the Ulva Ferry Community Transport Service. The hours are flexible to suit demand for the service but we do have a regular commitment for Mondays.
