As part of a trial supported by Scottish Government, Mull and Iona Community Trust is endeavouring to find a sustainable model for Out of School Child Care for here and other remote rural and island communities.
The first phase of this is to provide some summer holiday activity based sessions for all primary aged children across Mull and Iona (5 to 12 years old). We have secured the use of Mull Rugby Club at Garmony for this purpose and can offer parents and families up to 9 days over 3 weeks. This can be booked flexibly as single days or all 3 days each week! Full day bookings only.
Each day will run from 10am until 4pm and will involve activities, largely outdoors and delivered by a range of individuals and groups - see images for a table of activities.
Children attending should therefore wear/bring clothing suitable for being outdoors (i.e. wellies, waterproofs), and bring a packed lunch, snacks and a full water bottle.
