Old clothes, shoes, blankets, bedding and towels can be dropped off at Island Castaways charity shops in Craignure and Bunessan or placed in the textile banks at Island Castaways in Craignure; the recycling points in the Fionnphort car park; Tobermory (at Baliscate and Glengorm). All items should be clean (with no oil, paint or mud) and dry. Mull Building Supplies then take the textiles to the charity Blythswood in Oban where they are sorted and reused as rags and/or used for their charitable projects abroad.
