Mess Funds

Tobermory Junior Golf Club Receive MESS Funds

Iona Nought & Tots Receive MESS Funds

The MESS Project operates two charity shops ‘Island Castaways’ as part of their commitment to reducing waste and encouraging the re-use of unwanted items. Once the cost of the shops has been met half will be retained to support other MESS Projects and an equivalent sum is then passed on to other beneficiaries. Any voluntary group based on Mull & Iona may apply to MESS for support. Funds are handed out in June each year.

“Thanks to a generous grant from MESS, we were able to cover the minibus hire & coaching fees for 9 junior golfers at the World of Gold in Clydebank.”

“Iona Noughts and Tots received funding from MESS to purchase a selection of play and baby equipment and introduce weekly activities which include physical play, music and dance, arts and crafts, story time, nature trails and healthy eating”
